Hello, fellow Nerdfighters! My name is Jessie and I’m here to ask for your help. I’m a freshman in college this year and I’ve decided to make one of my two subculture research projects about online communities with a focus on Nerdfighteria.
One of the requirements for this project is to interview fellow insiders to the subculture… so that would be you, my fellow Nerdfighter! :D
The only way I can properly complete this project is if I get the help of the community. Below I’ve listed the “interview” questions I’m using for my project. If you have a moment to spare, it would mean a lot if you could answer them. The answers can be as long or short as you want. 5.) Are you friends with other members of Nerdfighteria? How do you communicate with other members? (IRL, You Tube, Your Pants, Tumblr…)
6.) In your opinion, can an online community be just as powerful and feel just as close as an offline community?
